What personal data we process, why we are allowed to, and the rights you have over it.

Last updated: July 2026

1. Controller

The controller responsible for data processing on voidinsider.com is:

Milan Buha
93413 Cham, Deutschland
Email: [email protected]

Full operator details are in the Impressum.

2. What we collect and why

We process only the data needed to run VoidInsider. Depending on how you use the site, that is:

  • Account data — username, email address, and password (stored hashed) when you register, plus content tied to your account such as comments, bookmarks, and cricket scorecards. Legal basis: performance of a contract, Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR.
  • Contact form data — name, email address, subject, and message when you contact us, used solely to answer your inquiry. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) and our legitimate interest in handling requests, Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.
  • Newsletter data — your email address if you subscribe, used only to send the newsletter. Legal basis: consent, Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR. You can unsubscribe at any time via the link in every email.
  • Server logs — IP address, timestamp, requested URL, and browser information, processed automatically to deliver the site, diagnose faults, and defend against abuse. Legal basis: legitimate interest in a secure, reliable service, Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Logs are kept short-term and deleted routinely.
  • Consent choices — your cookie preferences, stored in your browser so we do not ask again. Legal basis: legal obligation to document consent, Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR.

We do not sell or rent personal data, and we do not share it with third parties for their marketing.

3. Hosting and content delivery

VoidInsider runs on our own servers located in Germany. Traffic to the site is routed through Cloudflare (Cloudflare, Inc., USA), which acts as a content delivery network and security layer and technically processes IP addresses and request metadata for that purpose. Legal basis: legitimate interest in fast, attack-resistant delivery, Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Cloudflare is certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework and processing is additionally governed by EU Standard Contractual Clauses.

4. Analytics

Analytics run only with your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR, § 25 TDDDG), which you can give or refuse in the cookie banner and change at any time on the Cookie Policy page.

  • Plausible Analytics (self-hosted) — privacy-friendly page statistics running on our own infrastructure. No data leaves our servers, no cross-site profiles are built.
  • Google Analytics 4 — provided by Google Ireland Ltd., Dublin. Measures how visitors use the site. Data may be transferred to Google LLC in the USA; Google is certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework. IP addresses are truncated before storage.

5. Advertising

We may show ads (e.g. Google AdSense, Google Ireland Ltd.) to fund the site. Personalised advertising cookies are set only with your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). You can withdraw consent at any time with effect for the future via the Cookie Policy page.

6. Error monitoring

To find and fix bugs, technical error reports (stack traces, browser and request metadata) are collected with a self-hosted error-monitoring tool on our own servers. Legal basis: legitimate interest in a functioning service, Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.

7. Cookies

Which cookies we set, their lifetimes, and how to manage them are documented in the Cookie Policy. Essential cookies are used without consent under § 25(2) TDDDG; everything else waits for your opt-in.

8. Comments and public content

Comments, reactions, and cricket scorecards you publish are visible to other visitors together with your username. Please do not include personal data you do not want public. You can request deletion of your contributions at any time.

9. Retention

Account data is kept while your account exists and deleted or anonymised after account deletion. Contact inquiries are kept only as long as needed to resolve them. Server logs are deleted routinely on a short cycle. Statutory retention duties remain unaffected.

10. Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to:

  • access the personal data we hold about you (Art. 15),
  • have inaccurate data corrected (Art. 16),
  • have your data deleted (Art. 17) or its processing restricted (Art. 18),
  • receive your data in a portable format (Art. 20),
  • object to processing based on legitimate interest (Art. 21), and
  • withdraw any consent at any time with effect for the future (Art. 7(3)).

To exercise these rights, email [email protected] or use the self-service tools described on the GDPR Rights page. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority (Art. 77 GDPR) — for us the competent authority is the Bavarian State Office for Data Protection Supervision (BayLDA).

11. Security

All traffic to voidinsider.com is encrypted with TLS. Access to personal data is restricted to what operating the service requires.

12. Changes to this policy

We update this policy when our services or legal requirements change. The date at the top reflects the latest revision.
