What cookies are
Cookies are small text files stored in your browser. Under § 25 TDDDG and the GDPR, we may only store or read information on your device without consent when it is strictly necessary for the service you requested — everything else requires your opt-in, which we collect via the cookie banner.
Essential cookies (no consent required)
These are required for the platform to function:
csrftoken— protection against cross-site request forgery on form submissions. Lifetime: 1 year.admin_access— short-lived access token for the admin portal. HttpOnly, Secure, SameSite=Strict.admin_refresh— 24-hour refresh token for the admin portal. HttpOnly, Secure, SameSite=Strict.
Your cookie consent choice itself is stored in your browser's localStorage (key voidinsider-cookie-consent), as is your light/dark theme preference. Neither is transmitted to our servers as a cookie.
Analytics (only with consent)
- Google Analytics 4 (Google Ireland Ltd.) — sets
_gaand_ga_*cookies to distinguish visitors, expiring after at most 400 days. Loaded only after you accept the "Analytics" category. - Plausible Analytics (self-hosted) — cookie-free page statistics running on our own servers; also loaded only with Analytics consent.
Advertising (only with consent)
If you accept the "Advertising" category, Google AdSense (Google Ireland Ltd.) may set cookies to show and measure ads. Without that consent, no advertising cookies are set.
Managing your preferences
You can change or withdraw your consent at any time with effect for the future — use the button below to reopen the preferences dialog. You can also delete cookies through your browser settings; deleting essential cookies will sign you out. Details on the data processing behind these services are in our Privacy Policy.
