Kane Williamson and wife Sarah welcome baby girl

The 33-year-old batter posted a beautiful picture of his wife Sarah Raheem and the infant and captioned it as "And then there was 3. Welcome to the world beautiful Girl. So grateful for your safe arrival and the exciting journey ahead."

The couple have two other children together, a one-year-old son and a three-year-old daughter. Williamson missed the Black Caps’ recent T20 series against Australia due to being on paternity leave. He was, however, in very good form at the recent two-test series against South Africa, helping the Black Caps score their first-ever test series win over South Africa. Australia and New Zealand will play their opening Test match of the two-match series at Basin Reserve in Wellington on Thursday, February 29. Both teams place a great deal of importance on the series.

The Blackcaps are leading the World Test Championship (WTC 2023–25 cycle) with three victories in four games, while Australia is in second place with six wins in ten games. Australia enters the two-match series having just finished a drew series with the West Indies. The Australians had defeated the opposition by eight runs at The Gabba in Brisbane after winning the opening Test of the series at the Adelaide Oval by ten wickets.
